Weight is a guide only. Measurements govern.
How to measure
- Neck — around the base, where the collar sits.
- Chest — the widest point, just behind the front legs.
- Back — collar to the base of the tail.
- Two fingers should slide flat under the finished garment.
Fit & welfare
- Snug, not tight. Two fingers flat under the neck and chest.
- Remove indoors if your dog is panting. Fleece is warm and dogs don't sweat.
- Extra caution with flat-faced breeds — pugs, bulldogs, French bulldogs already struggle to shed heat.
- Not for warm weather. Remove for vigorous exercise, crating, and sleep.
- Never leave a dressed dog unattended for long periods — snag and entanglement risk.
- Not for puppies under 6 months, dogs with skin conditions or open wounds, or any dog that shows distress when dressed.
- If your dog has persistent anxiety, talk to a vet. A hoodie isn't a treatment plan.
Care: Machine wash cold, tumble dry low.
