Most weighted apparel puts the mass in one place and calls it done — a lump across the shoulders that you stop noticing in ten minutes because your body adapts to it. Ballast distributes 1.5 pounds of micro-bead weighting through a quilted yoke that runs shoulder to mid-back, so the pressure stays even and stays present. The shell is 480 gsm brushed fleece.
